Preliminary Preparations

Before cleaning the air cooler, the following preparatory steps must be completed:

Turn off the power supply to the air conditioner;

Remove the air conditioner's front panel;

Gather the necessary cleaning tools for the air cooler, such as a broom, a vacuum cleaner, cleaning agents, etc.

Cleaning the Exterior Surface of the Air Cooler

1. Use a broom or vacuum cleaner to remove accumulated dust and dirt from the exterior surface of the air cooler, ensuring the surface is thoroughly clean;

2. If stubborn stains are present, spray a cleaning agent directly onto the stains, then wipe them clean with a soft cloth.

Cleaning the Interior of the Air Cooler

1. Remove the air filter from inside the air conditioner, rinse it thoroughly with clean water, and set it aside to dry;

2. Spray cleaning agent into the air outlet of the unit; then, turn on the air conditioner to circulate the cleaning agent into the internal ducts, allowing it to fully dissolve any accumulated dirt within the piping;

3. After allowing the cleaning agent to work for 15–20 minutes, turn off the air conditioner and flush the internal ducts with clean water to ensure all cleaning agent residue is completely removed;

4. Reinstall the air filter back into the air conditioner.

Important Precautions

1. The power supply must be disconnected throughout the cleaning process to prevent electric shock;

2. Cleaning agents must be used strictly in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions; do not misuse them;

3. During the cleaning process, take care to protect the air conditioner's cooling fins and electronic components to avoid causing damage;

4. Once cleaning is complete, you must wait for the unit to dry and ensure all components are properly reinstalled before restoring power and resuming operation.

By following the air cooler cleaning procedure outlined above, you can achieve a more effective cleaning result, allowing your air conditioner to "breathe" more freely. We hope this article proves helpful to you.
